OK, it's summer, I'm excited. This is the season for outdoor theater, and performances of the Euripides tragedy "The Trojan Women" will take place at the lagoon at the CBS Studio Center (May 31). This is the same lagoon, by the way, in which the castaways on "Gilligan's Island" dipped their feet.
When director Michael Arabian last directed a site-specific work at the CBS Studio Center, he had Romeo drive a sports car to Juliet's window. Whether Mariette Hartley will make a similarly dramatic entrance as Andromache, we will have to wait and see.
