The city is accepting applications from residents interested in serving on three citizens' advisory groups.
Two seats are available on the Parks and Recreation Commission, which advises the City Council on development plans in the city, as well as on the maintenance of parks and recreational facilities.
Three positions are open on the Human Affairs Committee, which advises the council on needs within the community.
Finally, three seats are open on the Golf Course Committee, which informs the council about the use and operation of the municipal golf course.
Residents have until 5 p.m. Monday to submit applications for the positions, each of which carries a two-year term starting July 1. The council will conduct interviews June 29 at a 7 p.m. meeting in council chambers.
