EMMY AWARD NOMINATIONS 1995 : Nighttime Nominees: A Complete Rundown

Here is the complete list of nominees for the 47th annual nighttime Emmy Awards, as announced Thursday by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The academy said additional nominations are scheduled to be released Aug. 7 for six more categories where balloting was described as incomplete. They include best informational series, best writing in a comedy series and best directing for a drama series.

* Comedy series: "Frasier," NBC; "Friends," NBC; "The Larry Sanders Show," HBO; "Mad About You," NBC; "Seinfeld," NBC.

* Drama series: "Chicago Hope," CBS; "ER," NBC; Law & Order," NBC; "NYPD Blue," ABC; "The X-Files," Fox.

* Miniseries: "Buffalo Girls," CBS; "Children of the Dust," CBS; "Joseph," TNT; "Martin Chuzzlewit," PBS; "A Woman of Independent Means," NBC.

* Made for television movie: "The Burning Season," HBO; "Citizen X," HBO; "Indictment: The McMartin Trial," HBO; "The Piano Lesson," CBS; "Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story," NBC.

* Variety, music or comedy series: "Dennis Miller Live," HBO; "Late Show With David Letterman," CBS; "MTV Unplugged," MTV; "Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher," Comedy; "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," NBC.

Another nominee-- The listing of Emmy Award nominations on Friday omitted a sixth nominee for best informational special. Also nominated was "The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Presents: One Survivor Remembers," HBO.
