Earlier this year, the Orange County Fire Department changed its name. Now it has changed its look.

The new logo of the Orange County Fire Authority was unveiled Tuesday and will soon be placed on the agency's trucks, hats and letterhead.

Steve Guluk, an Orange County Fire Authority volunteer firefighter who designed the logo, said the new design is representative of the new Orange County.

"Our original seal represented Orange County's agricultural beginnings," said Guluk. "The new seal acknowledges the past, but moves on to also represent the growing commerce and residential presence that is now Orange County."
