Volunteers are sought to provide evening and weekend short-term shelter for children.
Interface, a nonprofit children and family services agency, provides "cool home" shelter to help youth who need temporary space away from their families.
Providing shelter and a caring environment can give a child and family members the time needed to work out problems, Interface officials said.
Interface provides training and financial reimbursement for "cool home" families.
