A network of sensors and surveillance cameras designed to keep traffic moving in the San Fernando Valley has been fully activated, Councilwoman Laura Chick said Tuesday.
The automated traffic surveillance and control system collects data from above and below ground on the Valley's busiest streets to synchronize stoplights and keep traffic moving.
