The Los Angeles Conservancy is sponsoring a two-day tour of eight notable modern homes designed by architects for themselves. The price is $40 for one day and $65 for both. The first day--Sunday--includes stops at the Eames house in Pacific Palisades, the A. Quincy Jones barn in Century City, Pierre Koenig's house in Brentwood and Ray Kappe's treehouse in Rustic Canyon.
