The Charts

Inside Track

October 08, 1995

Alanis Morissette may still sit atop the local and national charts this week, but Prince is definitely gunning for his old throne. "The Gold Experience" debuted at No. 2 on The Times' Southern California album chart, knocking Hootie & the Blowfish down to No. 3. Fellow rock veterans David Bowie and AC/DC made their way to the Southland charts with their new albums, checking in No. 6 and No. 8, respectively.
