Interlink Electronics Reports Decline in Profit

October 31, 1995

Interlink Electronics, a Camarillo maker of computer pointing products, said its profit for the third quarter that ended Sept. 30 was $114,000, down from $3.2 million in the same quarter last year. Revenues were $2.8 million, up 27% from $2.2 million a year earlier.

For the first nine months of 1995, the company said it earned $136,000, down substantially from $2.3 million in the first nine months of 1994.

Revenues increased 44% during the nine months to $7.9 million from $5.5 million in the same period last year.

The company said the 1994 earnings were boosted by a one-time $3.38-million gain from the sale of its European joint venture.
