Texaco Investing in Gas Stations in Poland: The White Plains, N.Y.-based oil giant will invest up to $150 million in a network of gas stations over the next six years, a company official said. Texaco President Patrick J. Lynch said the deal could involve 30 to 100 stations at a cost of $1.5 million per unit. The announcement comes as Texaco waits for approval from local authorities on starting gas exploration in western Poland.
