Physician Can Keep Infomercials During Legal Fight: A Beverly Hills physician can keep running TV infomercials for an acne lotion for the time being while fighting a legal battle with the Federal Trade Commission. Saying it wanted to stop deceptive claims, the FTC had asked U.S. District Judge Ronald Lew this week to stop Eton Derma Laboratories' marketing of Acne-Statin until a final court ruling on whether the claims are true. But Lew refused on Wednesday to stop the commercials from airing. He also denied the FTC's request to freeze some of the assets of the company and its developer, Atida Karr, the Beverly Hills doctor.
