The Beverly Hotel, which is located on Manhattan's Eastside at 50th Street and Lexington Avenue, is offering a discount for seniors. The Beverly is within walking distance of many of New York City's major attractions, including Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Grand Central Station and the United Nations. It's also a short walk to Bloomingdale's and Saks Fifth Avenue department stores. Travelers over age 50 receive the following discounts: The standard room regular rate, $139-$149, is reduced to $115; studio room, regularly $149-$159, is reduced to $125; and a one-bedroom suite, regularly $179-$189, is reduced to $145. Senior ski buffs can find bargains this winter at Diamond Peak Ski Resort, Incline Village, Nev. A family package starts at $42 per lift ticket for skiers up to age 59, which includes a free ticket for kids 6-12. For teen-agers ages 13-17 add $25.
