Is How You Decorate What You Are?

November 19, 1995

I guess the space they live in says a lot about people, especially interior decorators, ("Inner Visions," by Barbara Thornburg, Fall Home Design, Oct. 8). I wouldn't mind having Michael Berman and Dusty Deyoe as friends; they display their animal companions making good use--with happy abandon--of their highly decorated homes.

The only animal item visible in Antonia Hutt's abode is a rug with the image of a Bengal tiger flattened on it, presumably to be stepped on, in accordance with Hutt's Colonial Raj theme of imperialism and domination.

Yuk!
