Quarterback ratings are computed by using the NCAA's formula for passing efficiency. Take the completion percentage, add it to the yards per attempt and multiply by 8.4. Then add the touchdown percentage (touchdowns per attempts) multiplied by 3.3 and subtract the interception percentage (interceptions per attempts) multiplied by 2.0.
