Court Can't Decide Whether Dingo Killed Baby in 1980

DARWIN, Australia — The disappearance of baby Azaria Chamberlain 15 years ago remained unsolved after a court ruled Wednesday that it could not say how she died.

A coroner ruled there was not enough evidence in the case to determine whether a dingo, or wild dog, took the 9-week-old girl, as her parents have maintained, or whether her mother was involved in the child's death.
