Acquisition Boosts Irvine Firm as a Real Estate Data Provider

IRVINE — The Meyers Group, an Irvine real estate consulting and data company, has bought Sacramento-based New Home Trends for an undisclosed amount.

The purchase makes the Meyers Group one of the largest real estate information providers in the western United States. The Meyers Group has nine offices in California, Arizona and Nevada and offers real estate information to builders, developers and financial organizations.

"This is a strategic acquisition for our continued expansion," said Jeff Meyers, principal and founder of the company. "We began our presence in Northern California three years ago and this strengthens our position and increases our client base in the growing Sacramento and Central Valley market."
