Nevada Betting Outlets to Begin Carrying Races

Hollywood Park has reached an agreement with betting outlets in Nevada and will start sending the signal of its races there beginning with tonight's races. Nevada had not received the signal for the first five days of the 67-day season.

The agreement is for this meeting only, and negotiations between the two parties will continue.

Jockey Joy Scott, who set a Santa Anita record for victories by a female rider with eight, suffered three broken ribs in a spill Wednesday after her mount, It's Aloha, was bumped by Bit Of Summing and Baba Ruhl.
