Year: Senior

Position: Infield

Signed with UCLA as a tight end but might also play baseball in Westwood. Batted team-high .453 with six home runs.

STEVE GUERRERO

School: Poly

Year: Senior

Position: Infield

Led the Parrots to a Valley Pac-8 Conference title, batting a team-high .463 with 10 doubles, four triples and 23 RBIs. As a pitcher, he was 7-1 with a 2.54 ERA.

CODY JOYCE

School: Hart

Year: Junior

Position: Outfield

He batted ninth most of the season with a .500 average with six home runs, 32 RBIs, a .612 on-base percentage and 15 stolen bases.

BRIAN LUDERER

School: Crespi

Year: Senior

Position: Infield

Moved from shortstop to backstop at midseason while batting .385 and leading Celts with 34 RBIs. Will attend Oklahoma.

BARRY MATTHEWS

Position: Infield

Pitched and played first base, batted .421 and led Mission League with 13 doubles. Signed with Cal State Northridge.

JOSH MIRANDA

Year: Junior

Position: Outfield

Miranda was on the bench opening day but scored 31 runs and led Kennedy with a .433 average while batting leadoff.

ALBERT PALMA

School: Sylmar

Year: Senior

Position: Outfield

Batted a team-high .500 with 22 RBIs. As a pitcher, sported a 2.45 ERA and struck out 47 in 53 innings.

DANNY PHILLIPS

School: Chatsworth

Year: Senior

Position: Infield

Third baseman bound for Cal State Fullerton exploded after spring break, finishing with seven home runs and a .413 average.

TANNER TROSPER

School: Calabasas

Year: Senior

Position: Pitcher

A right-hander, he led the Coyotes to a second consecutive Frontier League title with a 1.92 ERA, an 8-2 record, 95 strikeouts in 69 innings and a .391 batting average.

JOHN WILSON

School: Baptist

Year: Senior

Position: Utility

Hit .457 with seven home runs and 44 RBIs. Also went 9-1 with 1.79 ERA and 119 strikeouts in 78 innings as a pitcher. Signed with Cal State Northridge.
