The workhorse of an Indians team that finished 21-8. Had an ERA of 0.78 while striking out 182 and walking only 25 in 170 innings.

School: Quartz Hill

Year: Freshman

Position: Infield

Took the Golden League by storm, batting .468, with three home runs, 22 RBIs and nine triples, one short of the Southern Section record.

TINA CURCIO

School: Alemany

Year: Junior

Position: Outfield

Second-year starter led Mission League champion Indians with .448 batting average and 14 RBIs.

KRISTI Di MARCO

School: Palmdale

Year: Sophomore

Position: Outfield

Batted .405 with four triples and stole 31 bases. Also threw out three batters at first base from center field.

DANIELLE FERREIRA

School: Crescenta Valley

Year: Senior

Pitcher

Signed with Cal State Fullerton, recorded 15 shutouts and 0.50 ERA while leading Falcons to second consecutive Pacific League title.

NICOLE GIORDANO

School: Saugus

Year: Junior

Position: Infield

The area's premier leadoff hitter, she batted .498, played brilliant defense and was 51 of 52 in stolen-base attempts.

TAMI JONES

School: El Camino Real

Year: Senior

Position: Infield

Jones, who has signed with Northwestern, threw two-hitter as a pitcher and had three hits in City Section 4-A title game.

JODI KENT

School: Verdugo Hills

Year: Junior

Position: Infield

Led the Dons with 36 runs, seven doubles and 22 stolen bases, helping Verudgo Hills to second 3-A title in four years.

TINA KINNEY

School: Hoover

Year: Senior

Position: Pitcher

Held batters to collective average of .007 in Pacific League play while going 15-9 with 0.09 ERA. Signed with Central Michigan.

MAUREEN LeCOCQ

School: Chaminade

Year: Freshman

Position: Infield

Projected to be among the area's top pitchers in coming years, played shortstop between starts and led Eagles with .301 batting average.

RAMONA SHELBURNE

School: El Camino Real

Year: Junior

Position: Outfield

Conquistadores' leading hitter averaged .486. Played shortstop, centerfield and catcher for City Section 4-A champions.
