THE TIMES 1996 SPRING ALL-COUNTY TEAMS

All County Golf

June 15, 1996

ADAM AINBINDER

Servite, Jr.

Ainbinder had a solid postseason, winning the Golden West League individual title and shooting a team-low 74 at the section team championship. Shot 75 at CIF-SCGA.

KELLY CRAIG

Santa Margarita, Jr.

Craig's one-under 71 was the county's best at CIF-SCGA and earned him third place individually and helped Eagles finish second in the team competition.

PHILIP LEE

Sunny Hills, So.

Lee improved late in the season and helped the Lancers to third in the section and fourth at the CIF-SCGA. Shot 72 at section team competition and 72 at individual event.

JIN PARK

Sunny Hills, Jr.

Park, the county's most consistent player in the postseason, shot 73 at the section team competition and 72 at both the section individual final and the CIF-SCGA.

GREG PITTENGER

Santa Margarita, Sr.

Pittenger was at his best when the Eagles most needed it. He was three-over par in their three postseason team events, including a final 72 at CIF-SCGA.

STEVE WAGNER

Santa Margarita, Sr.

Wagner could be spectacular--he shot six-under 66 at Rancho Santa Fe in a dual match and won Sea View League title by nine strokes. Shot 73 at section team final.

TIM O'HARA

Coach of the year

Santa Margarita

Using low-key leadership, O'Hara guided team to first section team title. He did well to hold together a team with 10 good players, because only six can play in a given match.

THE SECOND TEAM

Los Alamitos, Sr.

Shot 73 at section individual and 74 at CIF-SCGA.

Nate Blauer

Santa Margarita, Jr.

Shot team-low 71 at section team final; 73 at CIF-SCGA.

Bill Bodensteiner

University, Sr.

Led Trojans to section team final; shot 74 at CIF-SCGA.

Jeff McGraw

Servite, Sr.

Shot 76 at section team final; won Sunset and Golden West league titles in career.

Nick Seymour

Foothill, So.

Shot 75 at section individual to advance to CIF-SCGA.

Yon Yim

Woodbridge, So.

Won Southern Section girls' individual; shot 76 at CIF-SCGA.
