GM Sales Dip, Honda Gains: General Motors Corp. said its U.S. car and truck sales declined slightly last month, in what analysts said was an expected leveling off at the end of the industry's strong first half. GM's 1% decline, from the level reported in June 1995, came a day after Chrysler Corp. reported its overall sales were up slightly less than 1%, based on the daily sales rate. Ford Motor Co. will release its figures today. Among Japanese auto makers, Honda reported an overall gain of 7%, led by strong demand for its Passport sport-utility vehicle and Odyssey minivan. Robust sales of sport-utilities also led to Isuzu's 19% increase. Nissan said its June sales were down 7% overall, despite a 13% increase in sales of its light trucks.
