William Hall Chorale '96-97 Season Set

The William Hall Master Chorale will open its 1996-97 season Oct. 13 with a Mozart program at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, Costa Mesa. Hall will conduct the mass in C minor; Kyrie, K. 368a; and Vesperae Solennes de Confessore. Soloists: soprano Patricia Prunty, mezzo-soprano Catherine Stoltz, tenor Jonathan Mack and bass Clay Roni.

The season will continue with:

* a holiday program Dec. 15 at the center;

* a Valentine's Day program Feb. 16 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Newport Beach;

* an Invitational Choir Festival April 20 at Crystal Cathedral, Garden Grove; and

* "Best of Broadway" June 21 at the center.

All concerts will start at 7:30 p.m. except the Broadway show, which will start at 8.

The invitational festival time will be announced. Participants will include the Claremont Chorale, the Cypress Masterworks Chorale, the Southern California Mormon Choir and the Crystal Cathedral Choir, as well as the Inland, the Mountainside the Saddleback and the South Bay master chorales.
