LEBANON, Ore. — The Olympics have gone to the dogs in Oregon, where hundreds of droopy-jowled basset hounds competed for gold medals in sitting, wagging, howling and napping.
"It's not like the real Olympics," said 13-year-old Marco Ray, who accompanied his dog, Maggie, in Sunday's sixth annual Basset Hound Olympics. "The best part about this Olympics is that you can bring your dog."
