Earlier in the Games, while doing commentary on beach volleyball, NBC's Bill Walton was hit by lightning. Not only was he uninjured, he said, but he enjoyed it.

"I was standing there all hooked up, and all of a sudden I could see it," he said. "I saw it coming up the wire. The wire lit up, and it came right through me--bang! I liked it. I went back and stood in the same position the next day, but it didn't come back."
