ANAHEIM — The California Manufacturing Technology Center, which provides assistance to small- and medium-sized manufacturers in Orange County and elsewhere in Southern California, has received $25.8 million in federal funds over the next six years to expand its services.
The grant for the Hawthorne-based center, which has a branch office in Anaheim, was announced in Washington by Commerce Secretary Mickey Kantor as part of a program to create 11 new state and federally funded consulting centers and to expand seven others.
