Bruins Wary of Unusual Trick Plays

September 13, 1996|JIM HODGES

Scenario: Northeast Louisiana wins the toss and elects to defer its option to the second half Saturday night in the Rose Bowl.

Northeast Louisiana opened the second half Saturday against Minnesota by recovering its own onside kick. The Indians opened the game against Georgia in 1994 by recovering their own onside kick.
