Call it a political move.

The Chaminade-Thousand Oaks girls' volleyball match scheduled for Tuesday night at Chaminade High was postponed until 6 p.m. today because the school's gymnasium had to be prepared for a speech today by Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole.

Other high school events today include:

Girls' volleyball--Village Christian at Valencia 4:45 p.m.; Buena at Bishop Diego 6 p.m.

Girls' tennis--Newbury Park at Buena 2:30 p.m.; Victor Valley at Quartz Hill 3:15 p.m.

Water polo--Burroughs at Hoover 3 p.m.; Burbank at Notre Dame 3:15 p.m.

Cross country--Santa Paula at St. Bonaventure 3:30 p.m.

College events today include:

Women's volleyball--USC at Pepperdine 5 p.m.

Men's soccer--Mission at East L.A. 6 p.m.; San Diego City at Moorpark 2 p.m.; The Master's at Westmont 3 p.m.; Citrus at Glendale 5 p.m.

Women's soccer--Citrus at Glendale 3 p.m.; Whittier at Cal Lutheran 4 p.m.; Claremont at The Master's 4 p.m.
