GOVERNMENT CONTRACT AWARDS

* Woodland Hills-based Litton Systems Inc. won a $2.9-million contract from the Naval Air Systems Command in Arlington, Va., for communication, detection and / or coherent radiation equipment.

* The HR Textron Inc. Controls Division in Valencia won a $1.6-million contract from the Army at Fort Monmouth, N.J., for distribution boxes.

* Aerospace Service & Controls Inc. of Sun Valley won a $1-million contract from Edwards Air Force Base to purchase and install an autoclave system.

* Litton Guidance and Control Systems of Woodland Hills won a $932,298 contract from the Naval Air Systems Command for the modification of equipment.

* Danrenke Corp. of Valencia won a $244,000 contract from Vandenberg Air Force Base to repair electrical lighting systems.

* THI Group of Ventura won a $125,320 contract from the Naval Air Weapons Station in Point Mugu for air-conditioning repairs.

* ITT Fluid Technology Corp. of Valencia won a $44,289 contract from the Defense Supply Center in Columbus, Ohio, for aircraft components and / or accessories.

* R-HELP Construction in Newbury Park has been awarded a $14,000 contract from Ventura County's Public Works Agency to repair a channel wall on San Cayetano Road, north of Fillmore. The work involves removal and replacement of a 60-foot section of a reinforced concrete wall. The work is expected to be completed by Oct. 16.
