American Phoenix Finishes Kushi Merger

IRVINE — American Phoenix Group Inc. said Friday it completed its merger with Kushi Macrobiotics Corp., a Connecticut developer of natural food products.

The companies said the merged entity will go by the name of American Phoenix Group, and its stock will trade on the Nasdaq market under the symbol "APHX."

American Phoenix shareholders will own 85% of the new company, with Kushi Macrobiotics shareholders holding the remaining stake.

American Phoenix is an international technology and financial holding organization.
