BIG BEAR LAKE--A stein-full of festivities awaits at the 26th annual Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest, every weekend through Oct. 27. Featured: Oom Pah Pah bands, polka dancing, yodeling contests, log-sawing competitions, carnival and craft booths, and German fare. Noon-midnight Saturdays; noon-6 p.m. Sundays in the Big Bear Lake Convention Center, California 18 at Division. General admission: $6, Saturday; $3, Sunday. TEMECULA--Your name is "Mud" at the Great Temecula Tractor Races, Oct. 4-6. Tractor races through a mud bog, mud volleyball and tug of war will be highlights. At the Temecula show grounds on Diaz Road. 2-5 p.m. Friday (Casino Night starts at 7 p.m.); 9 a.m.-midnight, Saturday; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Free admission on Friday ($15 for Casino Night). MORRO BAY--A working waterfront pays tribute to its riches at the 15th annual Morro Bay Harbor Festival, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 5-6 on the Embarcadero. Offerings include: The California Seafood Faire, Central Coast wine tasting; a Maritime Heritage Pavilion; seven stages of diverse, live entertainment; fine arts; arts and crafts; and more. $5, general; free for those under 12. SAN FRANCISCO--A sparkling selection of crystals, minerals and jewelry will be showcased Oct. 5-6 at the Great San Francisco Crystal Fair in Building A at Ft. Mason Center.
