COSTA MESA — The Pacific Chorale will open its 29th season Oct. 26 at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, where music director John Alexander will lead the chorale and the Pacific Symphony in settings of the Te Deum text by Bruckner, Dvorak, Verdi and Persichetti.
Soloists will include soprano Susan Alexander, mezzo-soprano Adelaide Sinclair, tenor Paul L. Johnson and bass Michael Gallup.
The season, Alexander's 25th as head of the chorale, will continue at the center Dec. 7 with a holiday program; an a cappella concert April 26; and a "Songs of the Sea" program June 6. That concert will include the world premiere of "From the Realm of the Sea," by James F. Hopkins, the chorale's composer-in-residence.
