I used to live in Los Angeles. Six years ago, my husband and I sold our house in L.A. and moved to Oregon. I have registered to vote in my new county and have done so in every election. I have even been elected to the local school board.
After our move, I continued to get voter pamphlets and absentee ballot applications from California and Los Angeles. I called and wrote the elections departments. Today, six years later, I'm still on their rolls.
