Amplicon Income Rises in 1st Quarter

SANTA ANA — Amplicon Inc., which leases manufacturing and distribution equipment, said net income for the first fiscal quarter increased 19%, to $3.2 million, or 54 cents a share, from $2.7 million, or 45 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 rose 18%, to $66.5 million, from $56.4 million.
