Ingram Micro to Sell HP Products

SANTA ANA — Ingram Micro Inc. said its Ingram Alliance Reseller Co. unit has been authorized by Hewlett-Packard Co. to sell Hewlett-Packard's line of products, including microcomputer hardware items, to dealers. Ingram Alliance supplies microcomputer products to more than 1,000 resellers from a variety of suppliers. Ingram Micro, which last week offered its stock to the public for the first time, is the world's largest distributor of computer parts.
