Ocean Floor Dredged for Pieces of TWA Jet

November 05, 1996|From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Fishing trawlers began scraping and scooping up the ocean floor in search of parts of downed Trans World Airlines Flight 800. Kennedy International Airport on July 17, killing all 230 people on board.
