In another Alpha League game:

Kilpatrick 22, Maranatha 17--The Mustangs (2-7, 2-1) won in a hotly contested game at Maranatha (4-5, 1-2) that was called with three minutes 22 seconds remaining in the third quarter when a fight erupted between the teams.

Maranatha Athletic Director John Rouse stopped the game after an altercation between Maranatha linebacker Terry Russo and Kilpatrick Coach James Jackon spurred a bench-clearing brawl. Russo was ejected from the game along with Kilpatrick players Kenneth Agee and Robert Layaoen.

Kilpatrick's Jason Menter rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown in nine carries. Steven Goode added 80 yards rushing in eight carries for the Mustangs.

Maranatha quarterback John Boothe completed eight of 15 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown.
