Harrison Puts Glendale Over the Top and Pierce Loses 16th in a Row, 36-30

Rahsaan Harrison's six-yard touchdown run in overtime gave Glendale College a 36-30 victory over Pierce on Saturday in a Western State Conference Northern Division game at Glendale High.

Pierce has lost 16 consecutive games.

Harrison rushed for 279 yards and two touchdowns in 30 carries for the Vaqueros (4-4, 2-1 in divisional play).

Harrison's 20-yard touchdown run gave Glendale a 30-24 lead with 1:38 to play in regulation but the extra point was blocked.

Pierce (0-8, 0-3) scored with 38 seconds remaining in regulation on a 34-yard pass play from Dan McMullen to Randy Iaccino to tie the score.

The try for the extra point failed when the ball was snapped over the holder's head.

McMullen completed 19 of 38 passes for 275 yards and three touchdowns.
