El Dorado (4-5, 4-0) vs. Kennedy (6-3, 2-2)

7:30 P.M. FRIDAY WESTERN HIGH SCHOOL

The Empire League title is El Dorado's to lose. The way Kennedy has been playing since all-purpose standout Garrett Sabol went down with an injury 2 1/2 games ago, there doesn't seem to be much the Fighting Irish can do to stop the Golden Hawks. Kennedy, a top-10 team in the county two weeks ago, has lost two in a row and scored only 18 points in the last 10 quarters. El Dorado is a surprising team after dropping all five of its nonleague games. During that span the Golden Hawks never scored more than two touchdowns a game.
