ANAHEIM — Katella scored on all five of its first-half possessions as the Knights defeated Century, 48-0, Thursday night in an Empire League game at Glover Stadium. The victory stopped Katella's seven-game losing streak.

Francis Johnson started the rout by running 58 yards to the Century 16-yard line. Quarterback John Baldridge scored two plays later on an 18-yard bootleg.

Katella (3-7, 1-4 in league) increased its lead to 13-0 when Baldridge found Art Tiscareno on a 35-yard touchdown pass.

Tiscareno, a junior wide receiver, had seven receptions for 141 yards and three touchdowns.

Three plays later, Katella's Cesar Lopez recovered a fumble on the Century 15-yard line. Baldridge scored on a three-yard run.
