The Volunteer Center of Greater Orange County is a nonprofit organization that links people and resources to community needs. The center maintains an updated list of volunteer opportunities year-round. Countywide

Interval House

Program: Fund-raising; pick up and deliver donations for the holidays. Wish list: Financial help; food and department store gift certificates; new, unwrapped toys.

Program: Adopt a child or teen. Wish list: Special need for clothing (new and used, child and teen); toys; gift certificates for teens; food for holiday baskets.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

Anaheim Healthcare Center.

Program: Help with holiday party; decorate; prepare refreshments; be a friendly visitor; entertain; help with holiday spruce-up projects. Wish list: Bingo prizes; holiday gifts; holiday treats; Christmas cards; Christmas trees.

Anaheim Independencia Community Center.

Program: Entertain; be a Santa or helper; Spanish-speaking volunteer needed for phone work. Wish list: Cookies; refreshments.
