Phillip Reed, a leading man and second leading man in motion pictures from the late 1930s to the 1960s, has died. He was 88.
Reed died Dec. 14 in Los Angeles.
The actor's first film was "It's a Deal" in 1930 and his last was "Harum Scarum" starring Elvis Presley in 1965. Other films included "The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing," "Take Me to Town," "Glamour," "British Agent," "Klondike Annie" and "Davy Crockett, Indian Scout."
