Third Santa Clarita Film Festival Extends Deadline for Entries

The third annual Santa Clarita International Film Festival, which takes place at various locations Feb. 7 to 13, has extended its entry deadline to Jan. 15.

The festival is seeking family-themed features, animated films, documentaries and shorts, in addition to new screenplays.

As part of the festival, the movie "Fly Away Home" will be recognized for providing "outstanding family entertainment" during an awards dinner on Feb. 13 at the Odyssey restaurant in Granada Hills.
