The Detroit Pistons honored former coach Chuck Daly in a 36-minute ceremony before their game with the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.
The Pistons raised a banner with a "2" printed on it, symbolizing the 1989 and 1990 NBA titles they won under Daly. He is the only coach to win a championship in Detroit, and also holds the franchise records for games coached, wins and winning percentage. He had a 467-271 record in his nine seasons in Detroit.
