Bob Belmont, Tim Criss, Doug Kent, Norm Titus and Mark Turney bowled perfect games during the morning qualifying round, and Mike Shoemaker scored one in the pro-tour qualifier. Bohn, who also led after the first round, bowled the only perfect game in the evening round and came within three pins of a second in his last game of the night.

Criss' 300 game helped put him in fourth place, behind Bohn, Jason Couch and Amleto Monacelli.

The last of three qualifying rounds begins today at 9 a.m., before the field of 120 is cut to 24. Five bowlers will compete for the $48,000 first-place prize in the final round on Saturday.
