Wheeling Away From Winter

Many of America's 8.2 million owners of recreational vehicles are "snowbirds" who use their RVs to migrate away from winter weather. Some statistics:

Migrate to warmer climates: 18%

Do not: 82%

Of those who migrate:

Spend a month or more away: 87%

Spend less than a month away: 13%

Favorite destinations:

Florida: 26%

Arizona: 24%

California: 8%

Texas: 5%
