Dublin's Irish Whiskey Pub, 8240 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, (213) 656-0100. The new kid on the block, this Sunset Strip venue's the flavor of the month for Irish fare. 21 & over, no cover.

Goldfingers, 6423 Yucca St., Hollywood, (213) 962-2913. One of this new gilded lounge's three owners is Irish (Mark Leddy hails from Dublin). On Monday, Leddy is planning an afternoon and evening of "craic agus ceoil" (that's Gaelic for music and fun). 21 & over, cover varies.

Hennessey's Tavern, 8 Pier Ave., Hermosa Beach, (310) 372-5759. A fave among beach city folks looking for bit o' the Irish and some decent pub grub. The newly renovated beachfront bar recently quadrupled its size and crowd. Hennessey's also has bars in Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. 21 & over, no cover.

Ireland's 32, 13721 Burbank Blvd., Van Nuys, (818) 785-4031. Named after the counties of Ireland, this pub begins partying at 11 a.m. on Monday, with music from the Lads, Finn Macool, the Wake, as well as Irish dancers and bagpipers. 21 & over, cover $5 (free before 11 a.m.).

Largo, 432 N. Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles, (213) 852-1073. Owned by a lad from Belfast who goes by the name of Flanagan and who fills this alternative-spirited cabaret with plenty of Irish attitude. Known to make a mean Irish coffee. 21 & over, cover varies.

Molly Malone's Irish Pub, 575 S. Fairfax Ave., Los Angeles, (213) 935-1577. Its slogan: Only 40 miles from Dublin. Pick up a copy of the Irish Times at the door. 21 & over, cover $3 weekdays, $5 weekends. Pub menu.

O'Briens Irish Pub and Restaurant, 2941 Main St. Santa Monica, (310) 396-4725. A good place to get your corned beef and cabbage, hear the lilt of Irish laughter and some good bands. Open Monday 6 a.m.-2 a.m., Keith and Paul of the Young Dubliners, the Twilight Lords, Gallic Storm, the Lads, cover $5, 21 & over.

Scruffy O'Shea's, 822 Washington Blvd., Marina del Rey, (310) 821-0833. Monday's plans include lessons and performances by the Kelly School of Irish Dancing and a night show by the Lads. "It's gonna be your own private 'Riverdance,' " says co-owner Steve Newman.All ages until 10 p.m., 21 & over from 10 p.m.-closing, no cover.

Tam O'Shanter, 2980 Los Feliz Blvd., Los Feliz, (213) 664-0228. For 75 years, the Tam has been serving traditional old-country eats in an old-school environ. Still owned by the same family who built it, the Tam O'Shanter on Monday features the Brown Sisters from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Irish folkers the Mary Barton Trio until midnight. All ages OK until 5:30 p.m. (21 & over after), no cover.
