Site of Meeting on Circus Noise Moved

The Orange County Fair board of directors has moved today's meeting concerning noise complaints directed at Cirque du Soleil from the fairgrounds' Memorial Gardens Building to Building 14.

The larger hall, also at the Costa Mesa fairgrounds, can accommodate more people, a fair spokeswoman said.

College Park residents, who live near the fairgrounds, plan to address the nine-member fair board about noise from the nearly daily performances at the big top on Fairview Road.

The meeting begins at 4:30 p.m. The fairgrounds are at 88 Fair Drive.
