Gullah Gullah Island: Dance Along With the Daise Family. Paramount Home Video, $9.95. 30 minutes. TV's top mom and dad are Ron and Natalie Daise, the husband-and-wife team starring in Nickelodeon's "Gullah Gullah Island," and few kids' shows match the series' quality. If you have a fan at home or a music-loving preschooler, don't miss this new release with the Daises, their real-life and TV kids, Binyah Binyah Polliwog and other island pals. This compilation of 14 irresistibly toe-tapping tunes, hosted by James Edward Coleman III, the oldest son on the show, invites participation with rhythms and rhymes.

Mommy & Me in Animaland. Bogner Entertainment Inc., $14.95, 30 minutes. (800) 383-8811. Parents, watch your backs and knees--and kids should be monitored too--in this physical activity video. Accompanied by a children's music band, the Bumblebeez in a backyard setting, viewers can "Snake Roll," "Gorilla Walk," "Swamp Baby Stomp" and perform other anti-couch potato exertions. Take a breather during segments featuring young gymnasts.

Arthur Writes a Story. Random House Home Video. $12.98. 30 minutes. Arthur, the popular star of the hit animated PBS children's series based on the books by Marc Brown, makes his home video debut this month. Here Arthur learns that creativity doesn't mean trying to please everyone else; in a second story, he and pal Francine learn the meaning of friendship and heroism.
