Cashiering, Computer Classes to Be Offered

Classes designed to improve three vocational skills are offered this spring through the Coastline Regional Occupational Program.

The three courses beginning April 14, grocery cashiering, computer-graphics design and WordPerfect for Windows, are available on a first-come, first-serve basis to high school students age 16 and older and adults within the five school districts the program serves.

The districts are Huntington Beach Union High, Irvine Unified, Newport-Mesa Unified, Saddleback Valley Unified and Tustin Unified. Registration is $40.

Adults can register at the CROP office, 1001 Presidio Square in Costa Mesa, on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. High school students can register at their campuses.

CROP is a career-preparation system that is part of the five school districts that extend from Mission Viejo to Westminster.
