Stricken Family

Relatives of Terrance Tyrell Watson, the 5-year-old Sylmar boy killed Friday by a dump truck while waiting for a bus, are establishing a trust fund to benefit his injured mother and her other two children. Terrance, pictured above, died in a chain-reaction accident in Granada Hills when the truck careened into a bus shelter. His mother, Lucy Taylor, 36, a nurse's aide and single mom, remains hospitalized with a broken knee and leg, and with back and neck injuries. "We are all devastated by this," said Patricia Hall, a cousin. "We are in a lot of pain." The Terrance Watson Memorial Trust Fund can be contacted c/o Calvary Federal Credit Union, 12928 Vaughan St., San Fernando 91340 or by calling (818) 899-5818.
